Each client’s right to privacy and confidentiality is respected.

The Illinois Valley Food Pantry communicates information about its resources and needs to the public openly and honestly.

AFFIRMATIVE ACTION:

The Illinois Valley Food Pantry does not discriminate against any person because of race, sex, age, religion, handicap, physical condition, developmental disability, sexual orientation, or national origin.

CONFLICT OF INTEREST:

If a member of the Pantry Board or a Pantry employee has a financial interest in any business from which food, equipment, or contracted services are being purchased, that member or employee must disclose that interest.

The Illinois Valley Food Pantry seeks diversity in its Board of Directors, staff, and volunteers, and respects and values all contributions.

SAFE ZONE:

The Illinois Valley Food Pantry Board of Directors declares the Pantry a Safe Zone for clients, staff, and volunteers. Anyone disrespecting the Pantry, Pantry personnel, or others will be asked to leave the premises. If the disruptive behavior continues, the person(s) causing the disruption will be banned from the Pantry.
